Rules and recommendations for safe tourism after COVID-19
Given the epidemiological situation- caused by the outbreak of a new Covid-19 coronavirus- various activities have been reduced or completely stopped worldwide, including Tourism. However, the Mexican government has decided to start the economic reactivation in this sector. Since August 10, 2020, Azul Baja has reopened activitiesfollowing all the security protocols.
By booking with us, you can be sure thatall your tourist activitieswill follow the recommended security measures and personnel who attend you will have completed security training. Our priority is your safety and that of our staff.
Below you will find several recommendations that summarize the most important aspects to consider when travelling. However, we recommend that youstay informedabout the specific origin, transit and destination regulations. Please contact us or contact your embassy if you have any questions.
The Secretary of Tourism of Mexico in collaboration with the Ministry of Health established specific action measures. These measures apply to all companies in the sector: air transport, hotels, sun and beach destinations, tourist guides, museums, land transport, restaurants, cruises, water parks, among others.
Therefore, from the moment you leave your home until you return, we recommend you to follow the following rules:

Keep a healthy distance (stay at least 1.5 meters away from other people)

Wear a face mask and additional protection such as face shields or goggles if possible

Wash your hands (for at least 30 seconds) and use sanitizer

Never touch your face without first washing your hands

When coughing or sneezing, use a tissue and throw it away immediately or use the inner corner of the arm

If you have any of the following symptoms: fever, dry cough, tiredness, sore throat, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, headache, smell or taste loss, difficulty breathing, skin rash, loss of color in extremities; You must interrupt any touristic activity and inform the nearest security or staff personnel.
Also, remember to check thatall the sites you visitduring your trip carefully follow the following rules:

Frequent cleaning and disinfection of public places

Use of personal protective equipment

Filters established to detect possible symptoms

Support with information and disinfection material

Training of company personnel
If any of the measures are not followed please do not hesitate to notify. Your safety and that of yours may be at risk.
We know the rules and recommendations can be a bit uncomfortable, but remember that they are part of the national regulations. By taking care of you, you take care of us all.
